Inspired by real video diaries of his first love, which he filmed around 30 years ago, director Giovanni Bucchieri unfolds an emotional love story starring two artists and soulmates. Their relationship is challenged by bipolar disorder, ambition in life and longing for acceptance. 100 SEASONS offers a colorful mix of passion, tenderness, and romance. Director’s note: As a teenager I was sure I was going to die young. I was obsessed with death so I filmed tirelessly as an attempt to reach immortality. When I met Louise in the 90’s, my life changed. We fell in love. I continued to film, capturing our five year long relationship from beginning to end. Me and Louise grew up, stayed friends, and both of us became actors.

100 Seasons tells a love story using the old footage, pairing it with new fictional material where we are playing alternative versions of ourselves. We are going from living in reality to creating reality.
